Shot on 6, 7 and 8 March between 07:20 and 09:00, in the arcade two streets from the workroom, because it is the only place in Ravenna with four hundred metres of even light.
We photograph the garment on the person who will wear it, not on a hire model, and we do not retouch a crease out of linen. If a shoulder reads badly in the picture it reads badly on the street, and we would rather re-cut it than fix it later.
The last frame is always the cloth, not the figure. A photograph of a person tells you how a garment hangs for forty seconds; a crop of the weave tells you what you will be living with for ten years. Both go in the file, and the file is what we send you before the measure.
A photograph is an argument. The rail on Via Baccarini is the evidence. Thursday to Saturday, 10:00–18:00, one hour each.
